All things watercolor

Watercolor accents have become quite popular in the wedding world and beyond! I think it fits so well with the feel and vibe of the Caribbean with it's texture and movement mimicking sea breezes and ocean waves.  Now that there's an app for that, I've been enjoying turning some of my own photos into watercolor for a more artistic look.

We absolutely love the idea of incorporating touches of watercolor in your wedding decor, paper details, or a wedding gift to yourself. Think about hiring a water color artist to paint a scene from your wedding day to display on your wall at home. Maybe it's your reception area, with guests mingling and dancing. Or perhaps you'd like a painted picture of your bridal bouquet to enjoy.

Below are a few paintings from a local, talented artist, Helen Eltis. She can capture your wedding flowers, and scenic views in a one-of-a-kind art piece that you can enjoy for a lifetime.

I just love this idea, especially for a destination wedding! With gorgeous landscapes, St. John is the perfect location to think about having your memories displayed on canvas. What a great wedding gift idea as well.

We are looking forward to working with Helen on an upcoming project...stay tuned for details!
