Congratulations Mary and Jon!

Almost a year and a half after beginning their planning process, Mary and Jon said 'I Do' at sunset on beautiful Trunk Bay. Their long engagement made for a stress-free planning process and ample time for decision making and us getting to know them better! They fell in love with Alain Brin from Blue Glass Photography and met with him when they came to visit in January. It's so helpful when our couples have a photo shoot with their photographer prior to the wedding day as Mary and Jon did. It helps both the couple and the photographer get to know each other as well as having an opportunity to capture some different beaches and scenery than time will allow on your wedding day.

Below are a few photos from Mary and Jon's engagement session at Maho Bay and the Annaberg Ruins.

A sunset ceremony on Trunk Bay is always a romantic option on St. John. I loved their simple set-up with Lemuel on steel pan to serenade the guests as they took in the views.

Bright pinks, and corals were the perfect pop of color for their Caribbean celebration! Roses Too created gorgeous flower bouquets, and centerpieces with the bright colors Mary and Jon wanted...it was beautiful!

The reception began with passed appetizers and cocktails at The Waterfront Bistro. The Caribbean Groove Band got the party started and everyone enjoyed music and dancing all night including in between courses during their dinner! I just loved the table set-up with the rustic textures in the chargers and runner combined with the bright stunning flower centerpieces that filled the space with vibrancy.

Queen of Tarts baked this delicious chocolate and vanilla chiffon wedding cake...yum!

Mary and Jon were a joy to work with and we enjoyed every minute of their wedding day! Wish them both all the best as they settle into reality in Maryland as Mr. and Mrs.!  Hope to see them soon on their next visit...
