Ukraine meets Wisconsin

Congratulations to Katya and Shawn, who were married yesterday during a beautifully private morning ceremony.  Katya, from the Ukraine met Shawn, from Wisconsin...and the rest is history! Seattle is where they call home, although for the past 5 months they've been sailing through the Caribbean...dreamy, right?!

Their morning ceremony was held at Coco de Mer in Peter Bay and it was the perfect location for guests to enjoy the stunning views, sip on mimosa's and enjoy a touching ceremony.

The vibrant flowers from Roses Too were the perfect accent that matched Katya's energetic and fun-filled personality!

Katya looked stunning as she prepared to walk down the aisle to meet her handsome groom. It was not an easy walk with a long flight of stairs in her very high heals...but with a dancers grace she did perfectly and looked absolutely beautiful!

With Katya and many of her friends' dancing background, we knew the reception was going to be lively... and boy were we right! DJ Adonis kept them dancing all night! Music and dancing is a big part of their lives and it was so great to see all the music and talent incorporated into their ceremony and reception. Their first dance began with Katya singing to her husband while accompanied by guitarists who were Shawn's sons, then ended with an elegant dance as Shawn twirled his wife with big smiles.

The sunset was stunning from The Terrace restaurant where their reception was held. Katya and Shawn were able to take a quick stroll on the beach in Cruz Bay before their grand entrance into their reception.

The table settings looked great with teal accents and sea glass to compliment the coral flowers. Silver sequin runners added a touch of elegance and sparkle to the space. We always love a little bling!

Hope you enjoy the photos I captured on my phone. More to come from Elisha Orin who spent many hours with the happy couple on their wedding day as well as the night before. Elisha always does an amazing job capturing the moment - we can't wait to see her photos!

Best withes to the newlyweds...cheers to many years of dancing together!
