Viki Brown describes this event using a Caribbean palette of warm sunny hues against a flow of turquoise blues of the sea. She uses her paintbrushes to poetically create a treasured heirloom!

Viki composes your portrait by synthesizing oil paints with her custom photos, she has developed a style that captures that special moment. These paintings are known for expressing the overwhelming emotions that emanate when people are in love. The Bride and Groom will be showcased as a couple entwined with the sensual charisma of the magical island of St. John.

After contacting Viki Brown, she will set up an appointment to meet at your wedding, reception, the beach or her art studio. She will take a series of photos, with your suggestions included. (She is also available for other portrait commissions of Mom and Dad, the Flower Girl or Special Guests.)

Viki will email photos to you promptly. She will communicate her ideas as to what she feels would be a suitable composition You will be able to make the final decision as to what suits you best. Then she paints your portrait as described above, and emails the artists' proof for your approval before mailing it to you. Art work may be used on her website unless otherwise requested. A deposit of half of the total is due upon your agreement. Payment can be made with a credit card or personal check, upon clearance.

About the Artist.......
Viki Brown sailed into St. John 28 years ago from Florida on her 40 foot traditional cutter rig sailboat. Viki left the artistic atmosphere of Disney World where she painted pastel portraits as a specialty. But, her dream was to sail around the world and paint the universe. Sailing into St. John, she was overwhelmed with the bright, crystalline light shining on the sea creating highlights of greens and azure blues. Mountains and sea sharing the same space with palm trees were inspiring. Painting a combination of Caribbean seascapes with human curves has kept her imagination spinning with success. Falling in love 18 years ago, she built a dream home with her husband and their daughter on the highest peak, looking down island. Her paintings grace many homes internationally.
