I met Kristen and Drew in February 2009 when they came to do a site visit to St John to plan their Dec 09 wedding. After getting to know them better, I felt Caneel Bay would be the perfect location for their ceremony and reception. They planned multiple days of events for their wedding. Most of the guests stayed at the Westin St John.

We started with a welcome party at Snorkles, the beach side restaurant at the Westin. A casual beach BBQ with Steel pan was the perfect beginning for a week of families and friends getting to know each other. A late night "after party" was planned at Paradiso with a DJ - they danced until wee hours of the morning.

The bridal party was moving quite slowly for the rehearsal the next morning at Caneel. That night the group returned to a local restaurant for their rehearsal dinner.

The wedding day was a perfect clear Caribbean day. The ladies had a bridal luncheon at the Veranda at Caneel followed by hair and make up. Pre wedding shots were scheduled at 3 pm and the ceremony at 4:30 on Turtle Bay Point at Caneel. After the ceremony, the guests walked up to the Estate house and enjoyed a signature drink and some appetizers. The bride and groom spent some private time with the photographer to get those beautiful beach shots. Dancing began as soon as the bride and groom entered. The Estate house was set up in a home like setting - giving one the feeling of being in Caribbean Estate vs a dining room or banquet facility. Guests sat in comfortable couches under the stars dining on a variety of delectables. The band got every one moving and a great time was had by all ( including this wedding planner)
